How the 20% commission rebate is computed!
Our hometown heroes commission rebate is computed by multiplying the commission our office earns on your side of the transaction by 20%. If you are the buyer, the commission that determines your rebate is the one we earn on the buyers side of the transaction. This rebate is totally independent of who pays the commission. Whether you pay it, or the seller pays it, if you qualify for this rebate, you will receive it. Please note that who pays this commission is subject to negotiation between buyer and seller.
How to qualify for our hometown heroes commission rebate!
Members of the military, veterans, firefighters, educators, nurses and other healthcare professionals may qualify for our hometown heroes commission rebate. - We use the definition of “hometown hero” created by the State of Florida for their hometown heroes downpayment assistance program as a guide. But please don’t confuse our program with the State’s. - We don’t care how much you earn, how long you have been at your current job, or what your credit score is. However, your mortgage lender will. Therefore, you must have sufficient income and credit history qualify for the mortgage you’ll need to close on your new home.
- You must document that you currently work at your qualifying profession in Florida, or have accepted an bonafide offer to do so.
