Hometown Heroes Commission Rebate Frequently Asked Questions

(1) How do I qualify for the 20% commission rebate you offer?

Answer: You must be employed in Florida at one of the professions listed here. It’s as simple as that!

(2) I am a buyer. Are there any income qualifications?

Answer: Yes. You must have sufficient funds to close on the purchase of new home and provide proof of funds to be attached to your offer. If you will finance your purchase, proof of funds must include a mortgage pre approval letter form your accredited lender. If you are a cash buyer, you must provide proof that you have sufficient liquid funds on hand to close.

(3) Must I be a first time home buyer?

Answer: No. But if you are, our mortgage broker will gladly work with you to determine if you qualify for any of the first time homebuyer assistance programs currently available and help you to apply for assistance. You may combine our offer with any other assistance program or programs you qualify for.

(4) I am a seller. Can I qualify for your 20% commission rebate at closing?

Answer: Yes. Whether you are a buyer or a seller, if your profession qualifies you, we’ll gladly represent you and rebate 20% of the commission we earn on your side of the transaction at closing.

(5) Is there any connection between the Florida Hometown Heroes program and your commission rebate offer?

Answer: No. Our offer is totally independent of Florida’s program. Whether you qualify for the Florida program or whether it has funds currently available has no bearing on our offer. If you work at a qualifying profession, you qualify for our rebate offer!
