Bedtime affirmations yield a restful night's sleep.

Henry Ford is famous for musing that if you believe you can do a thing or you believe you cannot do a thing, you are right. But what message does he wish to convey? To be sure,  it is that your belief system is the primary factor standing in the way of achieving your goals. Therefore, you must recognize that most fears are just artificial constructs your mind places in your path. Work to defeat them and you will move ever closer to the success you strive for.

Do you fear failure? Then understand that failures are not the opposite of success. Instead, see failures as what they truly are, the experiences that ultimately make success possible. Therefore, have confidence and learn from the experiences of those who have reached the pinnacle of achievement. Thomas Edison did not invent the light bulb without conducting many failed experiments. Neither did Michael Jordan become virtually undefendable without devoting countless hours to perfecting his shot. In the process he missed more shots than anyone who came before him.

If you believe in your dreams and refuse to let fears deter you, you will surely succeed. If you see failures as mere stepping stones that guide you ever closer to your goals, you are well on your way to success!
