The 2020 presidential election was the 59th in United States history. The Democratic ticket of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris was certified as the winner by Congress on January 7th, 2021. It has stirred much controversy due to the impact accusations that the election was rigged. These accusations originated with President Donald Trump and his supporters in Congress and the Senate. The Trump campaign launched over sixty court challenges to the election results. However, all the cases, many of which were before judges nominated by Donald Trump, were decided in favor of the Democratic ticket. Despite that fact, many still believe that the 2020 presidential election was stolen. Perhaps pending legal actions to be tried in 2023 and 2024 will resolve this issue once and for all.
